Okay, so I've been posting a lot about skiing recently. Alex and I hit Mohawk Mountain in Cornwall last Sunday, by the way, Alex took a lesson which REALLY improved her form and confidence. She really looked great afterward, and we had a great time at a great little local hill. But that's not what I wanted to get into. I'm sure by now all, 1 or 2 of you who actually read this drivel are getting pretty sick of ski related posts. Only about a month left, I swear!!
So what else is going on? Alex is participating in an acting workshop on Friday afternoons after-school. She just started and is very excited. The program is being led by one of the folks from Epoch Arts, right here in town. She's got a lot of encouragement as well, considering her favorite author, Adrienne Kress, is an actress as well as author. Also, a very close friend of the family, Elena Araoz is an acclaimed actress and director as well. Maybe Alex can get some pointers. Even her old Dad was involved in theater and film for awhile...
